In 2009, the LaPorte County coalition assisted over 100 people with applying for the health coverage programs. Two new school partnerships were formed and current partnerships stregthened.

Due to the support of our partners, Covering Kids and Families of LaPorte County was able to reach more families who were struggling in the current economy and often unaware assistance was available.

Covering Kids and Families of LaPorte County is looking forward to another successful year of assisting LaPorte County residents with the state health coverage plans.
