Portions of the house supp bill passed which included the Medicaid regulations moratoria but did NOT address the 8/17 CMS directive. The White House reiterated its veto threat of the overall package and demanded a new version stripped of policy prescriptions and domestic spending. The Senate will take up its version of the war funding bill next week and is expected to strip out the policy prescriptions most disagreeable to the White House.
