February 4, 2010 was the first anniversary of the signing of CHIPRA by President Obama. Read the special “anniversary report” on progress made since the passage of CHIPRA.
In Indiana the effort to enroll new children into CHIP continues to show steady success. Indeed, without the expansion of our CHIP program to 250% of FPL, total CHIP enrollment would actually have dropped during 2009. So while we eagerly await further expansion to 300% FPL, let’s take time to look at what othetr states have been doing and see what promising practices we can borrow to implement here in Indiana.
