IHA/CKF-IN Interactive Conference Call Series

Indiana Hospital Association is partnering with Covering Kids and Families of Indiana to host a free summer series of interactive conference calls that offer technical assistance for hospitals on ways to increase reimbursement by expanding coverage.

The first session on July 10, 2009 focused on Presumptive Eligibility for Pregnant Women. Participants received an overview of the PE process, learned the financial implications of PE for hospitals, and gained an understanding of the importance of enrolling as a qualified provider. The second session titled, ‘Effective Strategies to Identify and Enroll HIP Caretakers’ took place on August 25, 2009. A panel, moderated by Marci Toler, Director of Enrollment Assistance for Covering Kids & Families of Indiana, showcased effective strategies under different models to identify and enroll HIP caretakers.
