ANDERSON, IN - Covering Kids & Families (CKF) of Madison County is marking its first anniversary. The coalition launched a year ago during Cover the Uninsured week in March 2009 with the primary goal of reducing the number of uninsured children and families who are eligible for public health coverage, but remain uninsured. Covering Kids and Families of Madison County, with United Way of Madison County the lead agency, is helping community leaders coordinate outreach and marketing efforts by fostering a collaborative environment for community partners to combine efforts to identify and enroll uninsured Madison County residents.
