Dr. Cameual Wright serves as the Market President for CareSource Indiana, where she spearheads initiatives to deliver high-quality, equitable health care to underserved populations across the state. Her leadership is centered on improving health outcomes for all Hoosiers, focusing on reducing health disparities and ensuring those with complex needs have access to the comprehensive care they deserve.
Prior to her current role, Dr. Wright was Chief Medical Officer for CareSource Indiana. She was instrumental in shaping medical and pharmacy policies and spearheading clinical initiatives to expand access to care for underserved communities. Her leadership fostered collaborations with providers and community organizations to drive health equity throughout the state.
Bringing more than 15 years of expertise in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Wright has held key leadership positions, including Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and President of Medical Staff in Indiana. Her passion for maternal and infant health drives her continued efforts to close gaps in care for vulnerable families.
In addition to her leadership at CareSource, Dr. Wright serves on several boards, including the Indiana Health Information Exchange (IHIE), the Indiana Rural Health Association, the American Red Cross, and the Indiana Perinatal Quality Improvement Collaborative. She is deeply involved in initiatives aimed at improving health outcomes, particularly in maternal and infant care, and continues to play an active role in advancing health equity across Indiana.
Dr. Wright received her undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Michigan and earned her Master of Business Administration from Indiana University.
