Enid Zwirn

Enid Zwirn is cofounder and past President of the Board of the Indiana Health Advocacy Coalition and also serves on the Board of Directors for the Indiana Public Health Association.  She is an Associate Professor Emerita from the School of Nursing, School of Medicine and University College at Indiana University, and was a Behavioral

Health Science Concentration Advisor.   Prior to 2004, Dr. Zwirn fulfilled several positions within the Indiana University School of Nursing, including Assistant Professor and Nurse Coordinator for the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program and as an Associate Professor and Associate Member for the Indiana University Graduate School.

Dr. Zwirn graduated from Beth Israel Hospital School of Nursing in New York City and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nurse Education from New York University. She earned her Master’s Degree in Public Health from The University of Michigan and her Doctoral degree in Instructional Systems Technology from Indiana University.  She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, International (Nursing Honorary) and Delta Omega (Public Health Honorary).

Dr. Zwirn has served on the CKF-IN Board of Directors since 2008 and serves as an At Large Board member.  She is an active member of the Schools & Early Childhood Committee.
