Lorrie Ramsey

Lorrie joined Covering Kids & Families of Indiana in 2025 but has been involved with healthcare since 1985. She serves as Director of School-Based Medicaid Program Support   and provides leadership, technical assistance, training, and strategic direction to school staff and administrators involved in service documentation, billing, and program operations.

Passionate about health and with a strong commitment to supporting students and schools, Lorrie is dedicated to developing relationships and supporting schools and school nurses develop and access resources needed to support student health during the school day and beyond.

Lorrie obtained a BSN from Ball State University, and a MS from Indiana Wesleyan.

Before joining CKF-IN, Lorrie enjoyed a 40-year nursing career at Community Health Network serving in multiple roles including Director of School Based Health and Nursing Services.  As the Director, Lorrie supported more than two hundred school nurses across ten school systems. She was the Chief Nurse Consultant for Schools during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond at the Indiana Department of Health.
